語学の楽しさを知れば世界は広がる！
“Discover the joy of languages and your world will expand!”
日本語?英語?中国語?韓国語?スペイン語と「言語」に関するカリキュラムが豊富で、海外への留学プログラムも多い長崎純心大学ならではの取り組みとして、高校生の語学研さんの場となればとの思いから、英語スピーチコンテストを例年開催しています。
今年は長崎県内の高校5校から9名が出場し、「長崎について気になることと私にできること」というテーマのもと、日頃の経験に基づく思いや提言を、自身の言葉で英語で披露してくれました。
またコンテスト後には本学の言語文化情報学科の学生と高校生が英語で交流するレセプションをも開催しました。
来年も多くの挑戦をお待ちしています！
As a unique initiative of Nagasaki Junshin University, which offers a rich curriculum in languages including Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, and Spanish, along with numerous study abroad programs, we hold this English Speech Contest annually with the hope it will serve as a place for high school students to explore language studies.
This year, nine participants from five high schools in Nagasaki Prefecture took part. Under the theme “What I Can Do for Nagasaki,” they shared their thoughts and suggestions based on their daily experiences, expressing them in their own words in English.
Following the contest, a reception was also held where students from our university’s Department of Language, Culture, and Information Studies interacted with the high school students in English. We look forward to welcoming many participants again next year!
